LAUDA provides you with its own interesting occupational training programme spanning various areas of activity. Irrespective of whether your interests lie in the commercial or technical field – you can rest assured that you will receive a highly qualified occupational training that is supported by our own training courses.

Practical technical training is performed on LAUDA equipment, whose manufacture requires specialized skills and abilities. Whoever is successful in this phase, has the best chances for acceptance at the conclusion of their training!

Industrial Mechanic (m/f)

Industriemechaniker

Industrial mechanics (m/f) work primarily in the manufacturing area. Here, they build devices, machinery and manufacturing equipment, they are responsible for their commissioning and repair. Beyond this, they are also responsible for equipment operation and for controlling manufacturing processes. Working closely with technicians such as lathe operators, milling machine operators, grinders and with operators from various bonding areas (e.g., welding, screw connection), they are equally familiar with the installation and adjustment of components. Maintenance and repairs to equipment; the manufacture of production components; parts’ testing, utilizing a variety of measuring instruments and measurement procedures; the installation of mechanical components; planning and monitoring tasks processes; the creation of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic circuits all round out their task area. Their typical areas of employment include maintenance tasks, machinery and equipment construction, manufacturing processes and instrument construction.

Scope & Duration:
Dual system / 3.5 years

Examinations:
Final examination, Part 1 (Second year of training)
Final examination, Part 2 (Fourth year of training)

Training school:
in Tauberbischofsheim; 1.2 days / week

Prerequisites:
Secondary level school certificate; spatial conception; an understanding of technical relationships; manual dexterity; a sense of responsibility; team capability; an understanding of mathematics and physics
