Practical technical training is performed on LAUDA equipment, whose manufacture requires specialized skills and abilities. Whoever is successful in this phase, has the best chances for acceptance at the conclusion of their training!

Refrigeration Mechatronics Engineer (m/f)
Refrigeration mechatronics engineers (m/f) are responsible for reliable refrigeration and the proper environment. Their training focuses primarily on the acquisition of the skills and knowledge required for the complete installation, maintenance and repairs of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Successfully dealing with complex customer orders, refrigeration and air conditioning technology, together with commercial and social sciences are all examination areas which will be encountered in the recently expanded journeyman’s examination. Subsequent to the successful completion of their examinations, refrigeration mechatronics engineers (m/f) at LAUDA are primarily employed in manufacturing in the construction and testing of equipment, in the service area and for maintenance tasks.
Scope & Duration:
Dual system / 3.5 years
Examinations:
Journeyman’s examination, Part 1 (Second year of training)
Journeyman’s examination, Part 2 (Fourth year of training)
Training school:
in Leonberg; in accordance with the block schedule
Prerequisites:
Secondary level school certificate; an understanding of mathematics and the sciences; an interest in technical relationships; manual dexterity; logical thinking
