The LAUDA iVisc System
Easy plug & play device installation and intuitive graphical operator guidance make the iVisc extremely user-friendly. The fully automatic, space-saving and mobile system is characterised by a power consumption of less than one watt, facilitated by convincing energy-efficient technology.
Another performance feature is highly sensitive, smart NIR meniscus measurement. Ubbelohde, micro-Ubbelohde, micro-Ostwald and Cannon-Fenske capillaries fit into the LAUDA iVisc. Operation occurs via a control and evaluation unit, e.g. a netbook or alternatively a PC. A USB interface provides control and the power supply for the device. Since the measurement of viscosities depends on the temperature, a thermostat has to be employed. For stabilising the temperature the heating thermostat E 215 T, for example, from the series LAUDA Ecoline Staredition can be used.
