LAUDA Constant temperature equipment
LAUDA thermostats are the mainstay of our product range and make up two thirds of our turnover. They guarantee a high level of temperature stability of up to five thousandths of a degree for liquids across the broad range of -90 up to 400 °C. Virtually all LAUDA thermostats are equally suited for both main applications: direct bath thermostating and the thermostating in a so-called closed external circuit. Almost every laboratory requires thermostats – whatever the field: chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, engineering or for any of the many specialist tasks.
It is therefore no surprise to find that LAUDA's customer list reads like a Who is who of the leading German industrial companies. The chemical giants BASF, Bayer or the nine companies derived from Hoechst are there just as much as universities, institutes and foreign concerns in Europe, USA and Asia.
The possible uses for thermostats are many and various. The LAUDA product range is therefore correspondingly comprehensive. No other manufacturer in the world can match it. A special form is the circulation chiller which removes heat in a closed circuit and is thus able to replace uneconomical and ecologically damaging mains water cooling.
